What are cookies

The cookie is a small text file containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and your device (usually the browser) and is normally used by the website operator to store the information necessary to improve navigation within the site or to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of surfing the net. When you visit the same or any other website, the user’s device checks for the presence of a recognised cookie, so as to be able to read the information contained therein. The different cookies contain different information and are used for different purposes (efficient navigation on the pages of the same site, profiling in order to send targeted promotional messages, analysis on the number of visits to the site). While browsing the website, the user can also receive cookies sent from different websites or web servers (so-called third parties) on his device. Some element of the site the user is visiting (e.g. images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages from other domains) may reside on the device.

More generally, some cookies (called “session cookies”) are assigned to the user’s device only for the duration of access to the site and automatically expire when the browser is closed. Other cookies (defined “persistent cookies”) remain on the device for an extended period of time.

The specific purposes of the different types of cookies installed on this site are described below.

You can disable cookies by following the information below.

Technical cookies

These cookies are specifically used to allow the correct functioning and use of our website. Technical cookies are used for example for the user’s login functionality. They are provided only by our server and data are not used or sent to third parties.

Profiling cookies.

Analytical cookies

These cookies are used for statistical analysis, to improve the website and simplify its use as well as to monitor its correct functioning. This type of cookie collects anonymous information on user activity on the site. This type of cookie is provided exclusively by third parties.

Cookies for which consent is required

All cookies, other than the technical ones mentioned above are installed or activated only following the consent expressed by the user the first time he visits the site. Consent can be expressed in a general way, by interacting with the brief information banner on the site’s landing page, in the manner indicated in this banner (by clicking on the OK button or on the X button; or by continuing to browse); or it can be provided or denied selectively, in the manner indicated below. This consent is tracked on the occasion of subsequent visits. However, the user always has the option to revoke all or part of the consent already expressed.

The site owner currently does not use first-party advertising profiling cookies.
